<p>En este episodio comentamos de un desarrollo importante del reciente del Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act conocido como el (CARES Act) que se promulgó el 27 de marzo de 2020. </p> <p>Bajo esa ley, el Programa de Protección Pago de Salarios (PPP) otorga préstamos 100% garantizados por el gobierno federal a pequeñas empresas (incluyendo ONG / organizaciones sin fines de lucro), individuos propietarios de negocios individuales, y contratistas independientes. </p> <p>El monto que se puede pedir prestado puede ser de hasta 2.5 veces el costo mensual promedio de la nómina, sin exceder los $10 millones de dólares. </p> <p>El que toma el préstamo, los prestatarios, son elegibles para que se les perdonen o condone este préstamo por la cantidad que gastó para ciertos tipos de partidas durante el período de 8 semanas que comienza en la fecha de originó el préstamo. </p> <p>La condonación se reduciría si hay una reducción en el número de empleados o una reducción de más del 25% en los salarios pagados que perdure mas allá del 30 de junio de 2020.
