<p>Eleonora Carlesi:</p><p>Born in Livorno - Italy - now she lives in Montescudaio (Pisa). <p>In questo episodio, davvero speciale per me, incontro Andy Mast, artista Amish di straordinario talento, riconosciuto al livello internazionale, che vive a Westcliffe in Colorado.</p><p>I valori culturali e la fede instillati durante la sua educazione Amish sono influenze dirette nella raffinata tecnica a matita di <strong>Andy Mast</strong>. Avendo scoperto la passione per il disegno in tenera età, ha affinato le sue abilità artistiche disegnando a notte fonda, alla luce di una lanterna, dopo lunghe giornate di lavoro nella fattoria di famiglia. Desideroso di un mentore e di critiche costruttive, il suo duro lavoro e l'intensa passione nel creare arte partendo dai semplici momenti della vita sono diventati rapidamente il catalizzatore per la sua maturazione come artista professionista, nonostante la limitata esposizione a una formazione accademica.</p><p>All'età di soli 17 anni, Mast è stato colpito da una tragedia: un grave trauma cranico causato da un incidente a cavallo lo ha trascinato in un percorso durato cinque anni, segnato da una profonda disabilità e dall'oscurità. Durante questo periodo debilitante, il disegno è diventato il suo santuario. Il suo talento innato, da lui considerato "donato da Dio", è diventato un rifugio che gli ha permesso di esprimere la propria disperazione, sperimentando al contempo una speranza che andava oltre essa.
