每年的國際蕭邦鋼琴大賽都是全球關注的音樂盛事，可以說是音樂界的奧運。來自世界各地的音樂家無不希望在這個地方爭取到一席之地，從此以後成為能夠巡迴世界的明星音樂家。而在蕭邦大賽中最為人所知的曲目之一，就是蕭邦的鋼琴協奏曲。

蕭邦（Frédéric Chopin (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fr%C3%A9d%C3%A9ric_Chopin)）是眾人公認的大師作曲家。
但你知道嗎？蕭邦在歷史上曾經沈寂過一段時間，甚至在默默無聞的狀況下被誤解為「煽情」、「柔弱」又「多愁善感」。
而這樣的誤解，從20世紀初最早的錄音中便可略知一二，當時的音樂家對蕭邦的詮釋——誇張的彈性速度、額外的裝飾音、改變譜上的音符，與現代的主流演奏相比，可說是有相當大的落差呀。
這集的老錄音回顧將帶大家坐上時光機，回到一百年前，聽聽那個時代的音樂家如何詮釋我們熟悉的蕭邦，節目最後也向觀眾提問：你認為音樂家詮釋曲子究竟可以有多少自由度呢？
