Sobriety vs. Recovery
<p>In this episode, Sierra Jade and I explore the distinction between sobriety and recovery. Sobriety is self preservation, and Recovery is self evolution. <p>Introducing Doak Blassingame, the founder and President of R.I.P. Project. This podcast will feature R.I.P. team members and guest speakers. We will tackle the tough issues while exploring the distinction between sobriety and recovery. It will be both funny, serious, intelligent, and educational all while unpacking literature, learning the history of mutual aid recovery systems, medical discoveries, the science behind addiction, and the spiritual component necessary to achieve true sobriety. We will discuss any and all things recovery related. We are proud to be a part of this endeavor, and we hope to carry the message to those that still suffer, as well as those that are recovered.
