Je to veľmi často spracovávaný motív, no u Hurbana dosiahol až nadčasovú hodnotu. Stredobodom tragickosti deja je mladá a chorľavá Katuša, nevesta starého Brezovského, ktorého môžeme považovať za druhého tragického hrdinu tejto drámy. Katuša a Brezovský sú dve kontrastné postavy; Brezovský, ktorý so sebou prináša motív bohatstva a Katuša, ktorá so sebou prináša motív lásky. </span>V Závejoch sa prelína lyrické a dramatické a vďaka tomu má dielo veľmi špecifický rytmus a dynamiku. <br /><br /><br /><strong>Smetovi:</strong> <br /><br />Smetovi je drama sa veoma dobrim kompozicijama, gde nam autor predstavlja problem bogatstva i ljubavi. To je veoma često obrađivana tema, ali je kod Hurbana dostigla nadmašujuću vrednost. Centralni motiv tragedije je mlada i bolesna Katuša, nevesta starog Brezovskog, kojeg možemo smatrati drugim tragičnim junakom ove drame. Katuša i Brezovski su dve kontrastne ličnosti; Brezovski, koji donosi motiv bogatstva, i Katuša, koja donosi motiv ljubavi. U Smetovima se prepliću lirski i dramski elementi i zahvaljujući tome delo ima veoma specifičan ritam i dinamiku.<br /><br /><br /><strong>Snowdrifts:<br /><br /></strong></p> <p>Snowdrifts is a play with very good composition, in which the author presents the problem of wealth and love. It is a very frequently used motif, yet in Hurban’s work it reaches a truly timeless quality. At the center of the tragedy is the young and sickly Katuša, the bride of the old Brezovský, whom we may consider the second tragic hero of this drama. Katuša and Brezovský are two contrasting characters: Brezovský, who brings with him the motif of wealth, and Katuša, who brings the motif of love. In Snowdrifts, the lyrical and the dramatic intertwine, giving the work a very distinctive rhythm and dynamism.</p> <p></p>

<p>Ovo je priča o dečaku koji je uprkos brutalnom nasilju u porodici, u državi koja se raspadala, uz pomoć čoveka velikog srca ipak postao požrtvovani policajac rešen da zbog pravde ne skeće sa puta koji je odabrao, svestan zla koje ga vreba iz senke.
