Afscheid Radio509
Radio509 is gestopt. Het radiostation voor en door mensen die geboren zijn voor radio – met een uitstekend getraind gehoor, simpelweg omdat ze toevallig weinig of niets zien. Maar bovenal was Radio509 er 'voor iedereen die horen wil !' Na jarenlang intensief lobbyen bij door de overheid gefinancierde organisaties voor visueel beperkten, het bedrijfsleven en mediaorganisaties zoals publieke en commerciële omroepen, werd één ding pijnlijk duidelijk: niemand durfde of wilde investeren in Radio509. Honderden keren kregen we te horen hoe fantastisch het project was, om vervolgens doorgestuurd te worden naar de volgende bestuurder of beleidsmaker – die dan uiteindelijk ook niets deed. En dan blijft er na bijna 16 jaar uitzenden nog maar één optie over: de stekker eruit trekken.
