I know like Ohio recently conducted a statewide audit for the science of reading and in that they actually included direct observations within teacher prep classrooms. And so they were looking not just at the content, but also at pedagogy in those classrooms. So that's something that's been happening across the country and really also focusing on building not just knowledge, but practice and making sure that teacher candidates can implement evidence based practices effectively into fidelity.
