[…] So this means that the challenge that Palestinians face is not only Israel and Zionism, but the world that supports it. And on the other hand, the Palestinian struggle is also a struggle against capitalism and imperialism because of the role and the material connections, the networks and the support that Palestinians not only received, but help build with and contribute to with other struggles, other anti-colonial struggles and anti-imperial struggles in the global South. This is something that Wa'il Omar and Hamza also outlined in their chapters alongside others. Therefore, we wanted to make sure that we had several contributions from the three regions to engage with this question of the intersections of the Palestinian struggle, to struggles in their own countries and regions, not only through the material connections of colonial and imperial power, but perhaps more importantly, the history of material connections of transnational resistance to it.
