She didn't know the power she possessed therefore she became a threat unknowingly. She was wanted by Charles Xavier for betterment but Magneto wanted her for destruction. Her undeniable gift allowed her to function on many levels but her lack of her own worth and her own power caused her own demise. I resonate with Phoenix, the only difference is I'm gaining the wisdom and knowledge about self and my identity. I am healing and rising
