We also discuss the importance of diversity in leadership and opportunity for growth in the industry.</p> <p>Rashida Wright hails for the Metro Atlanta area but has been residing in Austin for the last two years. Her nine-year career in hospitality allowed her to work for both independent brands and international corporations such as Starwood Hotels and Resorts, Marriott International and Omni Hotels and Resorts in corporate and on-property marketing. In every role, she focused on creating equitable workspaces for minorities and millennial women while creating diverse messaging and branding that appealed to minority travelers.
