What are the Granges?

<p>Today we are sitting down for a conversation with Vince Scholten, President of the Hessel Farmers Grange in Sebastopol, California. Vince is also Ag Chair for the state of California and owner of the longest-standing and largest certified organic greenhouse operation in California. He is a passionate grassroots farmer and agricultural conservationist. He has always been a proponent of organic and sustainable farming practices and has had a very active influence on policy and legislation, driven by his passion for grassroots and heritage farming practices.</p> <p>We will be discussing a brief history of the Granges, taking an in-depth look at the Grange communities and their ideals.</p> <p>The network of Granges nationwide has and WILL play a large role in sustaining grassroots agriculture for our future generations.&nbsp;</p> <p>We will take a deep look at the Granges and cover how they can affect change for the burgeoning Cannabis and Hemp Industries.
