<p>Het was als kleine jongen altijd zijn wens om cameraman te zijn in rampgebieden. Thomas van der Vlugt heeft inmiddels al meerdere keren crisisgebieden bezocht zoals na de aardbeving in Nepal en de vluchtelingenkampen in Libanon. In 2016 wilde hij zelf ervaren hoe het voelt om écht honger te hebben. Daarom reisde hij met het Rode Kruis naar Zimbabwe. Hij legde het allemaal vast met de camera. Doet ie normaal ook, voor StukTV, met ruim 2 miljoen abonnees op YouTube. In deze aflevering vertelt Thomas waar zijn interesse vandaan komt om crisisgebieden te bezoeken. En wat doet dat mentaal met hem als hij van dichtbij ziet hoe moeilijk mensen het hebben in rampgebieden?</p>

Kruisgesprek - Floortje Dessing
<p>In 2017 zat Floortje Dessing dagenlang vast in een schuilkelder vanwege oplaaiend geweld. Een ervaring die nog steeds veel impact op haar heeft. Toch besluit ze twee jaar later opnieuw met het Rode Kruis naar Jemen af te reizen om het verhaal te vertellen wat ze toen niet heeft kunnen afmaken. In deze aflevering blikt Floortje terug en vertelt ze over haar afscheidsbrief, het bezoek aan de psycholoog en waarom ze haar ouders niet vertelde dat ze terugging.</p>
