<p>The Romantic Gothic movement happened in the late 18th to early 19th century in England. Books were created about romances with mysteries. Usually these stories involved the supernatural and heavily included horror. The were set around dark backgrounds of medieval ruin and haunted castles. Frankenstein relates because it is scary and includes the idea of the industrial revolution. During this time period England was flourishing because many more resources and supplies were being produced because of the increase of factories and machines. There were many noble writers in the romantic Gothic movement such as Horace Walpole and Mary Shelly.&nbsp;</p>
