This is an audio recording of our Roots Revival worship service. Roots Revival is a midweek worship service grounded in Americana/roots-based music featuring Martha Bassett and friends. Martha Bassett co-leads congregational singing and special music with Pat Lawrence and Lee Spears. Rev. Bret Cogan and Rev. Meg Gaston are the regular preachers for this service. Each service is built around one or two “focus songs” and a passage from the Bible that fits a given theme. It’s contemplative but fun, liturgical but informal, and features the celebration of holy communion on a weekly basis. If you would like to join us in person our service is each Wednesday night at 7 pm.
