A Christian and average life-long anime fan, who barely has time to watch anime with even less time to create a show about it, manages to make a mediocre anime podcast that somehow performs slightly above average. While sometimes unprofessional and lacking expertise in certain areas, this show attempts to indulge the everyday casual anime fan, the believer, and the otakus that may have fell through the cracks of society being left with a desolate need to just hear something. So tune in for a decent minimal effort seasoned with random dialogue, nostalgic tangents, and faith-based perspectives.

8- Azrael Returns To Introduce Soul

Azrael returns to the show and introduces his friend Soul, who just so happens to have an interest in voice acting, so naturally I put him on the spot and ask him to read the show's description with no rehearsal. We go on to talk about why the name "Soul", how he first came to know anime, and how he got kicked out the house and had to sleep outside for watching Samurai Champloo at a very young age. We go on to talk about various things such as Soul's personal MHA theory, his voice acting, DBZ abridged, Toonami Aftermath, filler episodes, One Piece Kai, future ideas I have for the growth of the show, the Pokémon battle that began Azrael and Soul's friendship, and how this episode is the longest yet for a reason. Then of course, throughout the entire episode we discuss many different anime shows, such as: Pokémon Journeys, Samurai Champloo, Naruto, Bleach, Burn The Witch, Danganronpa, My Hero Academia, DBZ, One Piece, Yu-gi-oh, Digimon, Black Clover, Fairy Tale, and The Seven Deadly Sins; roughly in that order.

If you read this far, be sure to connect with us on Twitter!

7- El Beano aka "The Albino Burrito" returns

El Beano, formerly known as the Albino Burrito in earlier episodes, returns to the show for the 2nd episode after the official 2022 launch of the podcast. As we draw closer to the creation of an official intro coming up sometime in the near future I ask him how he would open the show. We touch on the convention story discussed in the last episode, I ask him to share his perspective on the time when we accidently assisted in checking badges at the door, and how we did our part in making the con safer, maybe. Then, fitting the criteria of the request we put out in the last episode for someone who grew up watching anime in Mexico, he provides insight into what shows were available and influential to him. I talk about why I canceled Funimation and will not be subscribing to Crunchyroll at the moment, Disney getting into the anime game, and about how people are bombarded by ads and samples of Toomics manga across all sorts of websites and social media. We continue to build on the idea of a self-serve manga cafe, discuss Bleach, life action adaptations, and give a shout out to all the listeners in different countries, states, and cities.

Be sure to connect with us on Twitter!

6- Official Launch of The Anime Podcast featuring Will Skrill

The Anime Podcast officially launches with this episode, and Will Skrill joins the show for the first time to kick it off! He shares how AMVs were a gateway for him into anime and we talk about some of his first favorites such as Hellsing, Black Butler, and Death Note. We talk about Hastings, different shows existing in the same universe, Goku being engrained in Mexican culture, the Pokemon Adventure Manga, that one time Will took his DeathNote to church, occultic themes in anime, live action remakes, anthropomorphic animes, and then we share some funny convention stories including Will's awkward encounter with a blue power ranger!
