Welcome to Ruminate On This!

<p>Ruminate On This (Coming Soon). A Cornell University podcast for consumers that want to learn more about animal production and its impact on food quality and healthfulness, our environment, and the well-being of animals. We will focus on the difficult challenges that face livestock and poultry production, efforts to improve the resilience of animal farming, and innovations and biotechnologies that are needed to ensure food security in the face of climate change and population growth. It is our goal to answer the tough questions consumers have about animal production and the animal-sourced foods they choose to eat or not eat. In the coming years, we hope to develop a following of listeners that enjoy learning about science and food. The format of our podcast will be variable but will include live or pre-recorded episodes, Cornell University student co-hosts, and interviews with consumers and animal science professionals including scientists, producers, and veterinarians. To provide you with meaningful and reliable information, we need your input. If you have questions, concerns, or opinions about animal production and the food it creates, please let us know using our various social media platforms including Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn. The questions you create may be used for future episodes where we "Ask The Expert". Suggestions for interviews are also welcome. We are just getting started and we have a lot to learn but we hope you enjoy listening to Ruminate On This!&nbsp;Our first complete episode will be released by March 2021.</p>
