They talk about the physical versus the digital and the importance of sensory experiences. </p>

<p>Host Arthur Elsenaar talks to iii artist <a href="https://instrumentinventors.org/artist/mariska-de-groot/">Mariska de Groot</a> about her fascination with circles and making sound from light. <a href="https://instrumentinventors.org/work/crochet/">Crochet</a> is Mariska's most recent project: a visual music installation with strong cinematographic references, where kinetics and old-fashioned craft meet each other in a surprising way. The work is part of Mariska’s ongoing research into wave movements and the interference between frequencies and patterns. </p>
