Podcast Overview

The “Running for a Dynasty” podcast is an ode to the Seahawks, an attempt to highlight how good this team was, despite their short rein of dominance. Now it’s been over 10 years since the Super Bowl season, and Seattle hasn’t shown the greatness they did in the 2010s. This podcast is meant to highlight this team, and how close it was to being considered a “dynasty” like the Patriots or Chiefs. Both the positive and negative outcomes will be discussed, but one thing that can’t be denied is how great this team was in a short period of time.

Running For A Dynasty Episode #2

Episode 2 “The Other Malcolm”, dives into Seattle’s infamous 2014 season, where they fell short to the Patriots in the big game. The season will be picked apart, mainly focusing on the run in the playoffs. Marshawn Lynch, Russell Wilson, and the Legion of Boom shine for Seattle, and help them on their run for a dynasty. But this episode describes how that all changed, and will include an interview from a Patriots historian and podcaster, with a great conversation on the game in retrospect.

Running For A Dynasty Episode #1

This podcast dives into the 2013-2014 season where Seattle won the big game. They had a 13-3 record and did it with a second-year quarterback in Russell Wilson. “Beast Mode” or Marshawn Lynch was also a huge part of the offense, but one thing highlighted is how amazing the defense was. Nicknamed the “Legion of Boom” Seattle’s defense was full of Pro Bowlers and hard-hitting players who scared opposing offenses. This was a beautiful season from the Seahawks, and I hope others can enjoy the story as much as much.
