The Marvelous Captain (Captain Marvel + 2018 Movie Catch-up) - RORF #1
New Show. New Schedule. New naming scheme. Welcome to the first episode of Season 5 of Running on Rooftops! We are catching up to all* the Marvel and DC movies we missed since we last recorded, as well as review the newest addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Captain Marvel. New Schedule Similar to our plans for last season, we are aiming for 2 episodes a month. The goal is to release one movie-related episode a month. When we started Running on Rooftops in 2015, the landscape of comic book TV shows was quite different. Four years later, there's over 3 times the amount of shows available on multiple platforms, and it has gotten too difficult to keep up with everything. We still like podcasting and while there are too many shows, there relatively fewer movies. By focusing on movie reviews, we can deliver more content with less stress. For the second episode of the month, anything goes! We looked back at all the different types of podcasts we've produced since 2015, and asked ourselves "What have we most enjoyed doing?" With this in mind, we are going to try doing more sprints, reviews, interviews, and more. Movie Catch Up Want to hear our opinion on all the comic book movies that came out since Avengers: Infinity War? Too bad! We forgot about Deadpool 2!
