<p>Egy párnak egy fia volt, akit nagyon szerettek. Amikor a fiú elég idős lett, apja elvitte a zsinagógába a tanítóhoz és megkérte, hogy a neki készített Beresit könyvből tanítsa meg olvasni. A tanító azonban a harmadik könyvvel, a Vájikrával, akarta kezdeni az oktatást. Mivel az apa nem tudta meggyőzni a tanítót, inkább elhatározta, hogy ő maga tanítja meg a fiát olvasni. És a fiú nagyon szépen meg is tanulta és meg is értette a szöveget. Egy napon a fiút katonák rabolták el, éppen amikor a tekercset olvasta, és elhurcolták egy idegen országba és ott börtönbe csukták. Vajon kiszabadul még onnan?</p>
