Pada 20 Juni 2000, SALAM dimulai lagi oleh Sri Wahyaningsih dan Toto Rahardjo di Kampung Nitiprayan, Bantul, Yogyakarta. SALAM (Sanggar Anak Alam) meyakini, bahwa untuk menyelenggarakan pendidikan tidaklah cukup hanya dilakukan di dalam ruang kelas antara guru dan siswa. Maka diperlukan proses belajar yang secara holistik terbangun relasi dengan orang tua murid dan lingkungan.
