Prinsip-prinsip pertumbuhan jemaat (bagian kedua: Prinsip 5-8) 5. Ibadah yang membangkitkan inspirasi (1 Tes 5:16-19) Tiga ciri: - Warga jemaat semakin memahami isi Alkitab dan kehendak Tuhan secara praktis untuk kehidupan sehari-hari. - Warga jemaat merasa ditolong dalam menghadapi pergumulan kehidupan sehari-hari. - Warga jemaat merasakan persekutuan dengan Tuhan dan dengan sesama warga jemaat yang lain. 6. Kelompok kecil yang menjawab kebutuhan secara menyeluruh (Kisah Para Rasul 2:42-47). - pola persekutuan lebih bebas dan lebih santai (sifat kekeluargaan). - saling menolong, saling mendukung saling mendoakan. - pola pengajaran dalam kelompok kecil harus dievaluasi dari waktu ke waktu supaya tetap sesuai dengan Firman Tuhan. 7. Penginjilan yang berorientasi kepada kebutuhan (1 Kor. 9:20-22). - Warga jemaat harus mengetahui situasi kehidupan orang yang mau dilayani supaya dapat mencari tahu titik berangkat terlebih dahulu. 1) Dibutuhkan kepekaan terhadap situasi; 2) perlu penyampaian Injil dengan cara yang mudah untuk dimengerti; 3) pemahaman perlu diteliti! 4) pengambilan keputusan dengan memakai rasio, akal, kehendak dan perasaan; 5) pemuridan/pengajaran harus dilakukan kepada setiap orang yang menerima Injil. 8. Hubungan yang penuh kasih (Yoh 13:34-35).
