Journal Week 16_Read Children Book and Watch Cartoon Movie
Hello Mrs. Raya, I'm Santika Setya Utami. I have watched children's cartoons in English. I watched "The Boss Baby" movie. And I also read children's book, that is "Tinkerbell and The Secret of The Wings". The movie I have watched is "The Boss Baby" The summary that I got from this movie : The Boss Baby movie tells about the story of a seven years old boy named Tim, who is jealous of his younger brother because he gets more attention and love from his parents than he does. Finally, Tim plans to go on a mission to win the hearts of his parents again. While carrying out his mission, he accidentally learns a surprising secret from the CEO of Puppy Co. The CEO of Puppy Co apparently plans to upset the balance of love and affection in the world. To stop it all, Tim and his sister must work together. And Tim had to be able to get rid of his jealousy towards his sister too. My experience after using new vocabs from this movie : I feel very challenged. The vocabs in this movie are very amazing. I have a lot to learn. But I like being able to learn vocabs from movies and I can remember them more easily. I also read an English version of a children's book, that is "Tinkerbell and The Secret of The Wings" The summary that I got from this book : Tinkerbell and the Secret of The Wings tells the story of Tinkerbell as a summer fairy who crosses the border between the summer and winter fairies. It was actually forbidden but she still did it. And after that her wings shine, Tinkerbell was both confused and surprised. After searching for information and trying again he meets a winter elf named Periwinkle. It turns out that they are twins but grew up in different areas. Their adventure begins until they can finally be happy together. My experience after using new vocabs from this book: I feel very Interesting. I feel like I have to be good at putting vocabs into life. Think about what it means and how to use it. I found the words unique. Because of the new vocabs, it's also easier for me to understand the story. I'm very happy to learn new vocabs.

Journal Week 15_Listen to 2 English Music
Hello Mrs. Raya, I'm Santika Setya Utami, here I sing two songs, the first song is "All of Me" by John Legend Liric : My head's under water But I'm breathing fine You're crazy and I'm out of my mind 'Cause all of me Loves all of you Love your curves and all your edges All your perfect imperfections Give your all to me I'll give my all to you You're my end and my beginning Even when I lose I'm winning 'Cause I give you all of me And you give me all of you, oh My head's under water But I'm breathing fine You're crazy and I'm out of my mind 'Cause all of me Loves all of you Love your curves and all your edges All your perfect imperfections Give your all to me I'll give my all to you You're my end and my beginning Even when I lose I'm winning 'Cause I give you all of me And you give me all of you, oh Cards on the table, we're both showing hearts Risking it all, though it's hard 'Cause all of me Loves all of you Love your curves and all your edges All your perfect imperfections Give your all to me I'll give my all to you You're my end and my beginning Even when I lose I'm winning 'Cause I give you all of me And you give me all of you, of you I give you all of me And you give me all of you, oh In “All of Me” song, it tells about an expression of a lover who loves his partner very much. According on the news, John Legend wrote this song for his girlfriend who is now his wife. My experience after using new vocabs every time is I feel very excited. I've been practicing new vocabs more often. I try to remember the vocabs while remembering the lyrics of the song. It is very helpful to learn English with new vocabs to apply in daily life. And the second song is "It's You" song by Henry Lau Liric : I'm tryin' to hold back, you ought to know that You're the one that's on my mind Falling too fast, deeply in love Finding the magic in the colors of you You're the right time At the right moment You're the sunlight Keeps my heart going, oh-whoa Know when I'm with you I can't keep myself from falling Right time at the right moment It's you You, it's you You, it's you 'Cause you're the right time At the right moment You're the sunlight Keeps my heart going, oh-oh-whoa I know when I'm with you I can't keep myself from falling Right time at the right moment It's you Every night in my bed, I'm dreaming, oh-whoa That it's you in my arms I'm holding, oh-whoa Girl, all I want is you 'Cause you're the right time At the right moment (the moment) You're the sunlight (sunlight) Keeps my heart going, oh-oh-whoa I know when I'm with you (with you, baby) I can't keep myself from falling (falling) Right time at the right moment (Girl) It's you You (you), it's you (It's you) You, (no, no) it's you (Whoa-oh-whoa) You (it's you, love), it's you (It's you, yeah, yeah) You You, It's you From the song "It's You" by Henry Lau, I know that this song is about a man who found his partner. He likens his partner to the color of his life as well as the sun. He also likens his partner to the right time and the right moment. And in his mind always contains about his partner. My experience after using new vocabs every time is I feel very interesting. I know their meanings and how to pronounce them. Finding new vocabs through music is effective because the music we listen to is the music we like. So, we can remember it better.

Journal Week 14_Watch 2 News in English
Name : Santika Setya Utami ID : 6411421090 Class : 1B-207 Hello Mrs Raya, I'm Santika Setya Utami, here I read the news that I have watch. I'm sorry if there are many mistakes. I tried my best. News 1 "New Covid Variant : Where do Variant Come From?" • Description from the news that I watch : The news that I watch tell about where do variants of Covid come from. The truth is viruses mutate all the time. When a virus gets inside a host and begins to infect cells, it makes copies of itself so it can spread, like dominoes. Thousands of copies are made at a time. And share a virus has to replicate very quickly. Over time these genetic mutations can lead to other changes. Most of these gentle changes do nothing. But sometimes they alter the way the virus behaves, making it easier for it to survive. Key thing is the longer a virus is out there spreading from person to person, the more variants you're going to get. Scientists are looking at vaccines to make sure high protection againts Covid-19. But the more a virus is allowed to go on the warpath, the more likely it is that a variant will spike up which stops vaccines from working. But we have control over thing that in many ways. Washing hands, wearing masks, practising physical distancing as much as possible. But also getting our immunisation. •Experience after using new vocabs everytime : My experience after using new vocabs every time is I fell very happy and excited. I added my vocabs, many new vocabs I found from this news. I can remember new vocabs by practicing them all the time. News 2 "Covid Vaccine Safety : How Does a Vaccine Get Approved?" • Description from the news that I watch : The news that I watch tell about Covid vaccine safety. These are all the steps normally taken to create a safe and working vaccine. So, as is the case with all medicines, a vaccine goes through extensive and rigorous testing before. Before any testing happens in humans, the vaccine is tested on animals in a laboratory. If the vaccine works and is safe for animals, clinical trials begin. Scientific and clinical experts review it to see how effective the vaccine is, how safe it is, how stable it is, its quality and check that it's been manufactured and stored in a way that meets safety standards and public health policy. If a vaccine is then approved, it can be given to a wider population. But the regulators keep monitoring health records and data on anyone who gets one. And every batch of the vaccine that is made is checked for purity and quality before it's sent anywhere. • Experience after using new vocabs everytime : My experience after using new vocabs every time is I fell very interested. I found new vocabs especially those related with this news. It's very interesting to add to my vocabs.
