These initiatives illustrate that businesses can still achieve profits while fulfilling a social purpose.</p>

<p>As we know, climate change is changing our planet to a dangerous extent. While focusing so much on global warming, we may have forgotten about something that would affect us a whole lot sooner. Humanity is facing water shortages across the globe, with 2.7 billion people finding water scarce during at least one month of the year. It's clear we're in a crisis, and unfortunately, it only seems to be getting worse. </p> <p>Cities that have gone through the worst of droughts like South Africa have become increasingly wise in their use of water. There's also dynamic companies like Just Water who recognize the immediate threat facing us and are choosing to source water sustainably and improve affected communities at the same time. </p>
