They say all good things come to an end, and this is one of those things. We've loved sharing our thoughts on life in podcast format, but have decided to continue Say So Collective in a different format (we promise more details to come as we flesh everything out). Thank you all for riding with us and listening to each episode as they went live. It's bittersweet, but pivoting is something we will always advocate for if it is necessary. With that said, we'll see y'all over on our socials with more details on our next steps!

Follow us on Instagram: @sayso_collective

Follow the Hosts: @thedailyseyi, @aminamarie, & @yvettecorinne

Black History Month this year was...quiet to say the least. In 2021, we saw brands throwing out campaigns left and right to Black creators as a means to rectify the diversity and inclusion issues that were brought to light in 2020, but it kinda feels like that momentum somehow came to a screeching halt.

We dive more into our disappointment with the lack of #BHM campaigns that we saw and what it actually means to be inclusive and an ally in the influencer space. Spoiler alert: it's more than posting a black square in solidarity.

Follow us on Instagram: @sayso_collective

Follow the Hosts: @thedailyseyi, @aminamarie, & @yvettecorinne

Oh to be an influencer. To share things that we love and to get to work with brands that we've always admired. And then there's the transparency. Sharing more about our personal struggles, wins, triumphs, and losses. But...do we sort of give up these boundaries in order to be an influencer?? Is it necessary for us to share every single detail pertaining to our lives in order to be considered transparent and authentic? And what if people start to cross those boundaries and feel that they have access to things that you never talked about? We share our thoughts on this and what we actually feel comfortable sharing online and things we like to keep to ourselves.
