Hochschule 5.0: Wie lehren und lernen wir in Zukunft?
Gegenwärtig erleben wir einen tiefgreifenden Wandel in der Art und Weise, wie an Hochschulen gelehrt und gelernt wird. Digitale Lehrformate ergänzen bisherige Lehrformate und ermöglich asynchrones Lernen. In dieser Podcast-Folge erläutert uns Prof. Dr. Isabell M. Welpe die Besonderheiten der Hochschule 5.0 und wie der rasante technologische Fortschritt lebenslanges Lernen und neue Abschlüsse erforderlich macht. Das Lernen an der Hochschule 5.0 wird flexibler und individualisierter sein als wir es bisher kennen. Auch müssen neue Räume an Hochschulen geschaffen werden, um den sozialen Austausch und das soziale Kapital der Studierenden zu stärken.

Promovieren in der Hochschulforschung
Eine Promotion bereitet heutzutage nicht nur auf eine wissenschaftliche Karriere vor, sondern zahlt sich auch auf dem außeruniversitären Arbeitsmarkt aus. In dieser Podcastfolge werden die Besonderheiten der Promotion in der Hochschulforschung als interdisziplinärem Forschungsfeld an einem Forschungsinstitut in den Blick genommen. Gerade die Promotion an einem Forschungsinstitut bringt im Unterschied zum Promovieren an einem Lehrstuhl an einer Universität verschiedene Besonderheiten mit sich. Zum Beispiel können berufspraktische Erfahrungen parallel zur Forschungsarbeit gesammelt werden, ohne dass man Lehrverpflichtungen erfüllen muss. Außerdem profitiert man von dem Austausch mit Wissenschaftlerinnen und Wissenschaftlern anderer Disziplinen. In der aktuellen Folge der Schlaglichter der Hochschulforschung haben wir die wissenschaftlichen Mitarbeiterinnen Christina Elhalaby und Theresa Thies zu ihren Promotionserfahrungen am IHF befragt. Außerdem haben wir mit Dr. Susanne Falk und Prof. Dr. Isabell Welpe über die Betreuung und Förderung von Promovierenden am IHF gesprochen.
