Thomas Gust lebt für das Fotobuch, er ist Verleger, Buchhändler, Dozent und Sammler. Der Buchladen „Bildband“, den er zusammen mit dem Fotografen Joe Dilworth betreibt, ist die Institution für Fotobücher in Berlin. 2018 gründete Thomas Gust mit Ana Druga den Verlag „Buchkunst Berlin“ und hat sich mit Künstlern wie Michael Wolf und Valery Faminsky einen Namen gemacht. In dieser Folge sprechen wir mit ihm über deutsche Fotografie und Fotografen im 20. und 21. Jahrhundert. Wir reden über den verstorbenen Fotografen Michael Wolf, die aktuelle Internationalisierung und Politisierung von Fotografie - und das Verhältnis von Fotojournalismus und Fotokunst.
