Ein überraschend guter YouTube-Horrorfilm, Christopher Nolans komplett in IMAX gedrehte Odyssey und ein angenehm warmes Getränk, das erschreckend deutlich nach Essig schmeckt. Außerdem reden wir über The Studio, White Lotus, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth und die Frage, warum alte Filme manchmal moderner wirken als zehn Jahre alte Blockbuster.

#125 - GTA 6, leere Hüllen und Windows Baby (aka Widows Bay)
Wir rebooten uns nach der letzten Folge erstmal selbst, klären die Schuldfrage und landen dann sehr schnell bei GTA 6, PlayStation, digitalen Lizenzen und der großen Angst vor dem leeren Karton im Regal. Außerdem geht’s um House of the Dragon, gruselige Serien, ein sehr lautes IMAX-Erlebnis, Heimkino-Frust, Claude, KI-Coding und die Frage, ob man von KI eigentlich süchtig werden kann.

#124 - Disclosure Day & Dortmund-IMAX
Diese Folge ist anders. Also… technisch gesehen sogar ein bisschen kaputt. Wir haben uns mobil ins Auto gesetzt, sind Richtung Dortmund ins IMAX gefahren und wollten euch eigentlich wie früher direkt vor und nach dem Kinobesuch mitnehmen. Auf dem Plan stand „Disclosure Day“, der neue Spielberg-Film, auf den wir zumindest neugierig genug waren, um teure Kinokarten, WM-Ignoranz und Dortmunder Verkehr in Kauf zu nehmen. Unterwegs reden wir über die wichtigste Frage überhaupt: Warum fahren wir eigentlich sonntags ins Kino, wenn Deutschland spielt? Außerdem geht es um FIFA auf der Switch 2, Schlafmangel mit Kindern, Einschlafen auf der Couch, Dortmund-Erinnerungen, fragwürdige Kinoerlebnisse und natürlich um die legendäre Salami-Party, bei der offene Knie offenbar zum Entertainment-Konzept gehörten. Leider ist der zweite Teil der Aufnahme kaputt gegangen. Bedeutet: Das direkte Fazit nach dem Film fehlt. Dafür gibt es am Ende ein nachträglich eingesprochenes Fazit: „Disclosure Day“ hat starke Ansätze, schafft es aber nicht, die große Alien-Kontakt-Magie wirklich global und episch wirken zu lassen. Viel Spielberg-Gefühl blitzt auf, aber am Ende bleibt eher ein mittelmäßiger als ein großer Spielberg hängen. Sorry für die Audioqualität – Auto bleibt Auto. Inhaltlich aber wie immer: maximal ehrlich, maximal abgeschweift und irgendwie doch wieder Screenshot.
