Episode 15 - Screwed Up Comparison: The Flash vs. Daredevil

SUC is back after having read Mark Waid’s The Flash run, and the comparison I’ve (strangely) made to Daredevil. I talk about the role Daredevil and The Flash play in the Marvel and DC universes, respectively. Some good ass comics talk in this quickie of an episode!

Remember this thing? I’m back - and I’m here to stay. I’ve been gone almost a year in an attempt to get my life together. At this point I am alive and wanna keep it that way. This episode is about where I’ve been, where I’m at, and how comics and action figures helped get me through the past year.

Episode #13 - Screwed Up Creator Spotlight - Warren Ellis

Gang hello - Back with an episode GLORIOUSLY FANBOYING for my favorite comic book writer - Warren Ellis.  I discuss items such as:  My favorite concepts made staples by Ellis - everything from his obsession with physics to the way his stories are structured; Give a few examples of my favorite works of his; and How his blacklisting is total bullshit These are discussed by, in part, drawing several credible comparisons that are perfectly acceptable social behavior for certain individuals, but when that occurs in this bubble of comic fandom? These things are interpreted differently, and vastly incorrectly, and I clear these hypocrisies up. Lots of this was sort of hitting during the day, and then got riffed on real quick - so let me know if you feel anything was left out! #FreeWarrenEllis As always, a 5 star review is very helpful and appreciated!! Till next time!
