[…] In Afghanistan, for instance, the Soviet Union infiltrated tens of thousands of soldiers during the course of 1979, training them in the Afghan language, issuing them with Afghan uniforms, for instance. We know for a fact now that they had similar designs on Sweden. They had prepared, for instance, Swedish military uniforms that would be used to conduct assassinations and acts of sabotage, hindering Sweden to raise its guard ahead of an invasion. And we still see this, we saw this in Ukraine as well, in the run-up to the Ukraine war, that the tactic of Russia and then the Soviet Union is to sort of soften up a country before the conventional invasion, you know, so that it can't, you know, really defend itself.
