With more than 84% of Indian household wealth stored in real estate, property, and land, having accessible public records is crucial for protecting against litigation and facilitating transactions. Two-thirds of all court cases in India deal with land-related disputes, making Landeed's work even more critical.</p> <p>The company recently raised $8.3 million in a funding round led by Draper Associates, Y Combinator, and Bayhouse Capital.
