After three years of creating a home, cultivating a community, and discovering more about who I am, this chapter of my 20s ends here in Amsterdam, Netherlands. I share my thoughts about leaving the country and an enchanted city I called home. What I have learned about myself and generational cycles are broken and created. Ultimately, why am I leaving the Netherlands. I'm excited to continue sharing as I seek and discover abroad.

Happy New Year! A year of self-forgiveness and hard truths of cycles that needed to end. Between love entanglements across Europe, the Atlantic, and the Pacific oceans. I am heading in a new direction in this New Year 2023, focused on more intentional love experiences, professional growth, and community experiences with those of different cultural backgrounds but aligned minds. In my self-reflection and healing conversation, I share my perspective on what is "settling" maybe or not. Engaging with "dating" as data collection to recognize what does and does serve you but will challenge you to grow within your self. Thanks for listening along the journey with me.

Social Life - In Europe meets her highest expectations. Her exposure to Amapiano music and solo travel to South Africa, passion for dancing, community, and enjoying each moment that she is present. Serenity shuts down the idea that dancing is clubbing. Instead, she calls it community gathering or socialization in spaces with connected interests. </p> <p><br></p> <p>4. Quality of Life - As a native New York City (Queens) woman who is naturally all about the hustle and bustle. Her life now in Amsterdam, Netherlands, compared to living in NYC, Washington D.C., and Atlanta, Georgia, USA, she shares the vast differences and appreciations of it all. </p> <p><br></p> <p>3. Introspective Growth - Navigating a space, culture, and community while seeking who Serenity is along the journey comes at a cost. Being an expat forces you to face isolation, sitting with those feelings and finding solutions. </p> <p><br></p> <p>2. Self Confidence Booster - Say what you want. Being an expat requires you to put yourself OUT THERE! Be Bold or go home. It’s not everyone’s journey, but Serenity is appreciative of hers. </p> <p><br></p> <p>1. Professional Advancement - From being an exchange student in England, UK, to interning on Capitol Hill Senate and House, teaching the future of tomorrow across the world to The Netherlands, and the list continues.
