<p>In quest'ultima puntata di <strong>"Sei passi per il domani"</strong> andiamo in Kenya per scoprire la <strong>rete degli agri-hub creati da Eni</strong>: come sono nati, come funzionano, quali sono i vantaggi che portano anche a livello economico e sociale.</p><p>I prodotti agricoli che confluiscono negli <strong>agri-hub</strong> vengono coltivati su terreni marginali, degradati o non in competizione con la filiera alimentare. Il primo impianto, creato nel 2022, ha una capacità di 15mila tonnellate all’anno. Ma l’obiettivo è arrivare a un target di produzione di 200mila tonnellate al 2026.</p>

<p><strong>Biomasse da scarti e rifiuti</strong>, come gli oli alimentari esausti, e da coltivazioni su terreni non in competizione con la filiera alimentare: materie prime come queste sono alla base della produzione di biocarburanti come gli HVO (Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil). In questo episodio parliamo degli <strong>agri-feedstock</strong> che assicurano l’approvvigionamento sempre più sostenibile di materie prime per le bioraffinerie. Grazie a questi progetti vengono valorizzate aree non in competizione con la filiera alimentare e si genera un impatto positivo sugli agricoltori, che possono avere entrate dirette, sicure e nel lungo periodo.</p>
