Like a big, mixed salad bowl we all have different origins, majors, cultural backgrounds, and stories to tell. And we can ́t wait to exchange all of those with each other and of course with you! Episode 5: Dating Bowl
<p>Hello again from your local Seoul Salad Bowl,</p><p>This episode is going to be our <u>final</u> masterpiece made by all our members together. </p><p>We we decided to talk about a very interesting topic that you’ll hopefully all enjoy: Dating. </p><p>Since one of our members, Miri, is in a relationship with a Korean guy and Syndy´s been in a similar relationship too, they will give you their insight on Korean dating. Also all of our Korean members are going to introduce the overall culture and mindset of dating in Korea. Our international members Alicia, Myrthe, Cindy will give you their thoughts about Korean culture with their own experiences in their country. </p><p>Before we forget, there is a sad reason for us to gather together and recorded our podcast with all our endeavour this time. This is going to be our last podcast for Seoul Salad Bowl, since one of our members is leaving Korea soon. It’s been four amazing months already; Time flies right…? </p><p>Anyways this is it for now. Episode 4: Seoul in a Bowl
<p>Hello Everyone,</p><p><br></p><p>This week we prepared a decent meal for you guys, we would even dare to call this episode the Essence of Seoul. Our seven members all have a long long conversation about the overall life in Seoul.</p><p><br></p><p>We start our conversation with transportation in Korea (especially Seoul). Our three members which all have different back grounds(Jaewon, Suji, Miri) give a broad perspective about Seoul's transportation system. As you guys listen into our podcast you will be shocked about how convenient it is in Seoul to use the public transportation system. We then move on to the overall life in Seoul as university students. We give a short description about how the clubs in Korean university are different from European school clubs. I’m sure that most Europeans will be surprised by how holistic Koreans are (haha). Lastly we will give you a brief information about how fast Seoul city life is by using the unofficial catch phrase "빨리빨리". Episode 3: Club Bowl
<p>This week we prepared a bowl that might not be for everyone, so please enjoy with care.</p><p>From alcohol to clubbing culture, all seven of us have different experiences when it comes to night life.</p><p>So in this (very lengthy) episode, we decided to talk about the legal regulations about drinking age around the world (you’ll be surprised), different drinks around the world compared to Soju in Korea, places for clubbing in Seoul and why you should always be careful while clubbing here and so much more. All of our members were shocked when we compared our different points of view about drinking and clubbing. We are pretty sure that you’ll also got to know these weird and surprising parts of Korea.
