Revealing the cost of Podcasting! We HAD to increase our prices
<p>There’s a podcast studio less than 5 kilometres from here charging 50% more than us for the same service </p> <p><br>It's time to align ourselves with the market.</p> <p><br>This is session in progress</p> <p> After searching around to other studios or having used their spaces before we found our own I thought I had aligned our studio hire cost with the market while knowing we over delivered compared to them all.</p> <p><br>Let’s look at our costs<br><strong>Equipment:</strong></p> <p>$10,000 worth of cameras</p> <p>$5,000 worth of lenses </p> <p>$2000 sound mixer</p> <p>$4,000 in microphones </p> <p>$1000 video mixer</p> <p>$1000 in studio lighting </p> <p>To rent that alone from a store very close to here. Why I had to delete the last episode 😥
<p>At the end of the last episode I revealed I’ve had to delete an episode off our YouTube and LinkedIn page.</p> <p>That was because I can no longer say our studio has been designed by the incredibly talented individual who helped us get this far.</p> <p>No bad blood.</p> <p>Just not enough money to afford the finishes she had selected.
