Sh*ts F*cked is an honest and unfiltered podcast diving into the gritty realities of addiction, recovery, mental health, and rebuilding life. Hosted by Paris Le Maistre, an Aussie woman with lived experience of meth and alcohol addiction, and the adult industry. The show shares real conversations with experts and those who’ve walked similar paths. It’s all about personal recovery journeys and pushing for a more compassionate, and culturally aware system.
Why We Still Don't Ask for Help | With Lily Gresele
If you know you’re struggling but still can’t bring yourself to ask for help... this episode is for you.
Paris sits down with Lily Gresele, founder of How to Be Well, to talk about why asking for help can feel so bloody difficult.... even when you know you need it.
Lily’s own experience began with a childhood where vulnerability and support-seeking were treated as weakness. After leaving elite gymnastics, she found herself without the identity, purpose and validation that had shaped almost her entire life.
What followed was a period of severe mental health struggle before she finally took the first steps towards support.
Those experiences eventually became the reason Lily started 'How to Be Well' because she kept coming back to one question:
Why was it so hard to ask for help in the first place?
In this conversation, Lily talks honestly about:
Why being taught that vulnerability is weakness can follow you long after childhood.
What happened when Lily lost the identity she had built around elite gymnastics.
How masking can make someone look completely fine while they’re falling apart underneath.
Why the first psychologist you see might not be the right one for you.
What finally helped Lily move from “I have to work this out myself” to asking for support.
Why recovery isn’t necessarily about never having another bad thought... but learning how to manage when they show up.
If you’ve ever known you needed help but still couldn’t bring yourself to ask for it, this one’s for you.
Lily Gresele is the founder of How to Be Well, a mental health platform she started after experiencing her own mental health challenges. Her work focuses on making mental health conversations and support-seeking feel more approachable and accessible.
Through How to Be Well, Lily delivers workshops, presentations, advocacy work and an online non-clinical support community designed for people who may be falling through gaps in the mental health system or waiting for professional support.

20 Years in Addiction and Still Not Too Far Gone | with Chrissoula D’orsogna
If you’ve ever looked at someone deep in addiction and thought they were too far gone... Chrissoula D’Orsogna’s story might make you think again.
Paris sits down with Chrissoula D’Orsogna, Director and Personal Trainer of Strong Bodies By Chrissoula, to talk about what more than 20 years of addiction actually looked like from the inside.
Chrissoula started using drugs young. Her story moved through heroin addiction, crime, incarceration, overdose, fractured relationships and years of believing there simply wasn’t another way to live.
She got clean at 33.
What came next wasn’t some overnight reinvention. Chrissoula had to rebuild her health, her relationships, her identity and the way she responded to life. Fitness became a major part of that process... and today, she uses what she’s learned to help other people build stronger, healthier lives.
What you’ll hear in this episode:
What Chrissoula believes she was searching for underneath the addiction: love and validation
How heroin entered her life after a serious car accident and quickly became more than physical pain relief
What more than two decades of drug use, crime and incarceration actually took from her
The guilt of addiction when the people who love you are caught in the fallout
What finally changed when Chrissoula entered recovery at 33
Why fitness, structure and discipline became such a big part of rebuilding her identity
The lesson she carried from rehab about learning to respond instead of react
Why she believes the energy once poured into addiction needs somewhere else to go in recovery
If you’ve ever felt like you’ve wasted too many years, made too many mistakes or gone too far to come back... this one’s for you.
