It almost feels like we don’t have alot to show for. In this podcast “Shades of Kamer With Anwi” we’re going to be reminding the world of our beautiful cultures, understanding the reasons why some practices like traditional rites, cultural dances, naming ceremony and weddings are still done in a certain way. Episode 2: Sense of Belonging
Sense of belonging encompasses the idea that people use clothing as a means to express their identity, values and affiliation, and by so doing, they create a sense of connection and belonging with others who share similar fashion choices or cultural backgrounds. Clothing plays a significant role in shaping individual and collective identities. It can reflect personal tastes, subcultures, social status, and cultural heritage. On todays episode we looked at sense of belonging with regards to dressing, the Toghu and how Cameroonians will show up at a typical traditional wedding. *TOGHU* is a fabric from Bamenda in the North West Region of Cameroon.

Episode 1- Journaling
On today’s episode, Gèraud Ebielle and I looked at journaling and over sharing. Journaling is simply writing down your thoughts and feelings to understand them more clearly. For most people who struggle with stress, depression, anxiety, or introverts, keeping a journal was an escape/ safe space for them. This approach helped most people gain control of their emotions and improved their mental health as best as it could. Did you keep a journal? Im interested in your thoughts.
