<p>Shila is my classmate in the Ayurvedic Doctor program given by Kerala Ayurveda <br />Academy. She comes from an Indian family, grew up in Germany, went to medical <br />university in India and now live in Bahama. <br /> <br />It is interesting to hear her story about how Ayurveda came to her after she <br />finished her medical university and how she met KAA to start her ayurvedic <br />educaiotn. <p><Meeting the Practitioner- Anuradha Gupta> <br /> <br />Anu is in the same class with me every since the counselor program in 2018. <br />Anu's grand grandmother is an Ayurvedic doctor and doula back in India, but the <br />lineage was missed during the time when British goverment took over India (It <br />was the dark period of Ayurveda when it was not allowed to be performed or <br />studied in public. ) <br /> <br />Anu was an engernieer and MBA in USA, but the health situation in her family <br />brought her to Kerala Ayurveda Academy and later she became a student. Anu works <br />now as a writer working for Kerala Ayurveda and Art of Living to introduce <br />Ayurveda from various aspects to readers. She also coopeates with Ayurvedic <br />doctors/vaidyas to perform consultaitons. When she has more time, she gives <br />community ayurvedic talks and workshops. <br /> <br />I am so happy to meet Anu today and hearing her sharing her ayuvedic journey. <p>Today I met Anjana in Boston. Anjana did her counselor and practitioner <br />trainings with Kerala Ayurveda Academy and we met few times during our clinical <br />internships. <br /> <br />Anjana grew up with Ayurveda and ever since finishing her counselor training, <br />she started to offer cooking classes, workshops and food & lifestyle <br />conseltations in her community.
