[…] Anyway, the character gets news from his team that the oil drilling that he has been doing in Greenland is has caused a rupture in the ice shelf, and that a giant chunk of the ice shelf has broken off and is floating towards Europe, and were it to make landfall, it would be catastrophic. And so he assembles his team, and he meets with the president, played by John Goodman, and his team, and they start to decide what to do next. And it's all played out as very over-the-top satire, very Coen Brothers-esque. I was laughing. It had me going. I was just into the world that they were building. Um, and it's all very heightened and elevated as you can probably see from the footage on, uh, in the trailer, all the performances are pretty great. […]
