2G geht offline und plötzlich fehlt der Notruf
<div>Diesmal geht es schon wieder um einen Abschied, genauer gesagt um das Ende von 2G in Deutschland. Telekom, Vodafone und O2 wollen den alten Mobilfunkstandard bis 2028 abschalten. Tschüss MMS und De-Mail: Warum gute Technik scheitert

Die eine kennen viele noch aus der Zeit, als ein verschicktes Handyfoto fast das Prepaid-Guthaben ruinieren konnte. Die andere sollte deutsche Behördenkommunikation digital, verbindlich und sicher machen und ist trotzdem in der Praxis gescheitert.
