10-09-26 - Avs HAMMER the Flames, Payton takes back playcalling/Sympathy for Webb/Playcalling autonomy
0:00 - How's that for a get-right game? The Avalanche went to Calgary on the 2nd night of a back to back and OBLITERATED the Flames 7-3! Not bad, boys.
Well...that didn't take long...After 4 games, Sean Payton took back offensive playcalling duties from Davis Webb. It became officially official yesterday.
14:33 - Davis Webb kinda got taken for a ride, didn't he? He got offers from other teams in the offseason, but stayed with the Broncos because he got playcalling duties. Now after 4 games against 4 REALLY GOOD TEAMS, he's demoted? That doesn't feel right.
31:38 - How much autonomy did Davis Webb ever have? He's still been calling Sean Payton's offense the whole time. Will anything look different AT ALL on Sunday in LA?

10-08-26 - Avs fall to Jets 3-2/Payton taking back playcalling?/Payton or Webb - nothing changes
0:00 - Winnipeg continues to be a House of Horrors (or a House of Hoors) for the Avs. They can't win in that damn building (except for that one playoff series when Hellebuyuck was sieve. Stuart Skinner playd pretty well last night. Did the Avs get...G[redacted]? Are we allowed to use the G word?
14:36 - Rumors started swirling last night that Sean Payton is taking back playcalling duties from Davis Webb. He's seen enough after 4 weeks and it's time to make a change. Nothing's official yet, but if it's true, Brett thinks it's a little (a lot) premature.
31:56 - If the playcalling rumors are true, Brett doesn't think anything will change. The offense will look the same no matter who's the primary playcaller.
0:00 - Brett watched the Nuggets preseason game against the Jazz last night and actually...came away with a feeling of hope. A feeling of positivity! It's only preseason, granted, but the signs are there.
14:46 - We do it every Wednesday at 6:20am! Who's trending up and who's crashing down? It's another weekly edition of NFL STOCK UP - STOCK DOWN!
31:44 - Last night on DMac After Dark (or whatever his 10,000th digital show is called), Coach Sanford explained why he can sympathize with Davis Webb. Minnesota hired him to be their OC, and he was forced to call an offense that wasn't his.
