Pariz po loteriji enajstmetrovk znova na vrhu Evrope
V Budimpešti se je končalo najelitnejše evropsko klubsko tekmovanje v nogometu. V finalu sta se pomerila Paris Saint Germain in Arsenal. Po rednem delu in dveh podaljških nismo dobili zmagovalca, rezultat je ostal 1:1. Po enajstmetrovkah so naslov drugič zapored osvojili Parižani. Klemen Verlič se je pogovarjal z radijskim reporterjem Luko Petričem, ki si je finale ogledal v živo.

Želimo si slovenski klub v ligi prvakov, a mora biti dovolj močan
Ljubljano je obiskal predsednik Evropske rokometne zveze (EHF) Michael Wiederer. Verjetno ne samo zato, da bi si ogledal prizorišče kongresa EHF, Ljubljana bi ga gostila jeseni 2027. Wiederer je lani vstopil v svoj tretji predsedniški mandat, ta bo zaradi omejitev zadnji, kar nekaj že potrjenih sprememb pa se bo zgodilo tudi po letu 2029, ko se bo Avstrijec poslovil. V intervjuju za Val 202 je Michael Wiederer govoril tudi o neurejenosti prestopov, sploh mladih rokometašev, o pomembnosti kongresa EHF leta 2027 in že potrjenih spremembah v tekmovalnem koledarju ob koncu tega desetletja, pa tudi o neenotnosti EHF na decembrskem volilnem kongresu mednarodne zveze.

Slovenski hokejisti bodo torej še tretje leto zapored igrali med svetovno elito, med reprezentancami, ki imajo neprimerljivo več hokejistov, da o infrastrukturi ne govorimo. Risi, kot že veste Švico zapuščajo po sinočnji zmagi nad Italijo, prejšnji teden pa so ugnali Češko in odščipnili točko Slovaški. Prihodnje leto bo svetovno prvenstvo elitne divizije v Nemčiji.
