In a relaxed format, we will explain the injury, treatment options, and expected return to sport as well career impact. We will have various guests - physicians, physical therapists, athletic trainers and some athletes talking shop. Intended to be a little more light hearted than this topic is usually presented... over a couple beers.

[…] Those are the ones that are fatal and really big. And it's not unusual to have smaller ones and almost be asymptomatic. Maybe you know a little bit. Maybe you don't know. And I don't know which ones he had. I will say this. In hindsight, being 20-20, if he had a superficial vein thrombosis when they ultrasounded him in London... He flies back. It doesn't necessarily mean he got a big blood clot and it broke off when he was in the air on the flight. Right. it may have broken off and he might have had those pulmonary emboli before he ever got back on the plane to come back to the u.s yeah and they ultrasound him the reason i don't see a dvt at that point is because it's no longer in the deep veins in his leg right broke off and went to his lungs already yeah and i have a feeling that maybe that's why like all of this confusion in like if that's the scenario especially if they were asymptomatic dv uh pulmonary emboli like I don't know that anyone actually made a mistake.
