Jakso 33: Pol Pot & punakhmerit
<p>Huhtikuussa 1975 Kambodžassa pysähtyi aika. Verisen sisällissodan päätteeksi valtaan nousi Pol Potin johtama punakhmer-liike, jolla oli hallussaan visio, jollaista maailma ei ollut ennen nähnyt. Historia pyyhittäisiin puhtaaksi ja kaikki aloitettaisiin alusta - vuodesta nolla. Kaupungit tyhjennettiin, koulut ja sairaalat suljettiin, raha lakkautettiin. Niiden tilalle oli määrä rakentaa agraariutopinen talonpoikaisyhteiskunta.</p><p>Se, mitä seurasi, oli yksi ihmiskunnan historian radikaaleimmista ja tuhoisimmista kokeiluista. Vain neljässä vuodessa koko valtio muutettiin suljetuksi vankileiriksi. Jakso 32: Noitavainot Suomessa
<p>Myöhäiskeskiaikaisessa 1400-luvun Euroopassa syntyi ilmiö nimeltä noitavainot. Kymmeniä tuhansia epäiltyjä tuomittiin kuolemaan noituus- ja taikuusrikoksista. Noitavainot levisivät myös Suomeen.</p><p></p><p>Suomessa ilmiö sai kuitenkin Manner-Eurooppaan verrattuna hyvin uniikkeja piirteitä. Tässä jaksossa sukellamme 1600-luvun suomalaisten mielenmaisemaan. <p>MKULTRA oli Yhdysvaltain keskustiedustelupalvelu CIA:n salainen hanke, jossa 1950–1960-luvuilla tutkittiin mielenhallintaa, aivopesua ja erityisesti LSD:n sekä muiden huumeiden vaikutuksia ihmismieleen. Ohjelmassa tehtiin usein luvattomia kokeita potilaille, vangeille ja tavallisille kansalaisille.
