Episode 20 - All About The T in LGBTQ
<p>Let's talk about the people and community who got lots of biased judgments and often being misunderstood by society. Yup, di episode kali ini kita akan bahas all about the T in LGBTQ. </p> <p>Wait, sebelum masuk ke pembahasan di podcast ini, pernah gak kalian atau orang-orang di sekitar kalian mikir/bilang begini: "Ini mereka yang Gay/Lesbian/Transgender biasanya pasti operasi kelamin deh, ya gak?" atau, "Ini klo gue temenan sama Gay/Lesbian/Transgender gue bisa ditaksir atau ikutan 'belok' gak sih?".</p> <p>Hehe. Yakin 9 dari 10 orang pernah at least mikir begini. Ya klo itu memang doktrin dari masyarakat bisa dibilang wajar juga sih, apalagi kalau belum paham atau mempelajari lebih dalam tentang LGBTQ. Di Indonesia sendiri, masih banyak banget yang mempunyai sentiment, judgment, anggapan, dan bias yang misleading terhadap teman-teman dan komunitas LGBTQ ini. Dianggap menular, aib, penyimpangan sosial, sesat, you name it. Padahal mereka semua juga manusia, dan masih banyak banget yang gak mau mengakui itu, sehingga mereka dianggap sebagai kaum marginal atau bahkan dianggap aib masyarakat.</p> <p>Kurangnya informasi ini juga yang menyebabkan misleading judgment dan stigma tentang LGBTQ ini muncul sampai meluas ke hal-hal yang perlu kita debunk. Makanya topik soal LGBTQ ini akan kami bahas di Taboo Tuesday, to debunk and break the bias. </p> <p>Di episode ke-20 di Taboo Tuesday podcast Season 3, with Taboo Tuesday Ladies: Andrea Gunawan, Talita Setyadi, Gita Sjahrir and Cath Halim bakalan ngebahasa LGBTQ namun berfokus pada the T (Transgender), on the topic of "All About the T in LGBTQ".
