Chapter 12 - Multishipping and Polyamory
<p>We’re talking about shipping this week, friends! Becca and Hannah Davey are cheerful multishippers and this statement takes up a few minutes of our episode until we derail completely to talk about polyamory and its depiction in media and fandom. Hooray for OT3s! Neither of us (as of the recording) has any experience being polyamorous, but we have friends who’re living and loving that poly life, and we support more polyamory depictions in stories! Chapter 11 - Fan Creation Formats and Memes
<p>We talk a lot about fanfic on this podcast, because Becca and Hannah Davey are prolific fanfic consumers, but fanfic isn’t the only way that fans create things based on media. There are tons of other formats that fan creations can take! Fanart, bound books of fanfic, animatics (short animation sketches), podfic, TikToks, musicals... There’s a lot of cool things that people made because a story inspired them, and we think that’s awesome.
