That is what our portfolio company <a href="https://www.krimanshi.com/">Krimanshi</a> is doing.</p> <p>In our fifth episode of Taking the Leap, Dhruv Pandey talks to Forbes 30 under 30 Nikhil Bohra, Founder and CEO of Animal Nutrition Tech start-up Krimanshi. Krimanshi is creating sustainable feed systems by upcycling food waste into low-cost highly nutritious cattle feed with zero compromises on quality. Nikhil began his journey in 2015 to improve nutrition, health and productivity of India’s dairy sector; which is the largest producer of milk in the world but amongst the least efficient, because yields are not up to the international average and is a fraction of global benchmarks.</p> <p>Nikhil is a graduate in Biotechnology from VIT University, Vellore and a post-graduate in Leadership and Innovation from Adianta. Nikhil has been associated with the Desert Environmental Conservation Association and the Asia-Africa winner for Cattle-Mettle at the Global Social Venture Competition -UC Berkeley, USA.</p>
