From the History of the Tgree Kingdoms 《三国志》. This excerpt is an example of why patients should avoid sexual intercourse if they have not yet recovered. Otherwise some serious consequences may occur. Dun Zixian 顿子献 ignored the advice of Hua Tuo 华佗 and died of the recurrent disease.

From the History of the Three Kingdoms《三国志》. Hua Tuo 华佗 successfully treated throat obstruction more than once and purged abdominal parasites by mashed garlic. Parasites hung on his wall were powerful evidence.

From Records of the Grand Historian 《史记》. This excerpt is a classic case of diagnosis in the medical history. Chunyu Yi 淳于意 (aka Cang Gong 仓公）correctly diagnosed Song Jian’s 宋建 renal obstruction and cured him with “Routang” 柔汤, a type of TCM formula.
