Ep. 7: "Nobody" by Wonder Girls, "Something" by Girl's Day, & "Gee" by Girls' Generation

Oops this episode is loooong overdue, but I finally released it today! Let’s take a stroll down memory lane and relive the times when these 3 iconic girl groups and their respective songs came to be. They have helped shape and define what female idols/girl groups are and set the precedent for newer and rookie groups today to follow in their footsteps. If you call yourself an avid kpopper, then these hits definitely have to be in your repertoire or else you’re straight capping!

Ep. 6: "Dynamite" by BTS

Whoever gets this question right, I'll Venmo you a penny ;) What is my favorite Kpop group? Can you tell? Of course it's BTS! It's been a while Armies, but we're back in comeback season! And kicking it off we are BLESSED with "Dynamite." In this special episode, I'll talk about both music video versions that were released recently and why I think this is such a pivotal moment for Kpop. And just because it's released in English doesn't mean I don't need subtitles because I live and breathe subtitles. Feeling a bit nostalgic? Need a little extra pep and funk in your step? Join me as we discuss "Dynamite's" popularity surge and why this is exactly what we need right now in our lives.

Ep. 5: "Love Talk" by WayV, "니가 부르는 나의 이름 (You Calling My Name)" by GOT7, & "Home" by Seventeen

*DISCLAIMER: Calling all Haikyu fans! Please hmu because I need more friends to obsess over this series with!* Oh, and in this week's episode we talk about three new guy groups who are capable of showing a more sensitive side with their music, redefining what it means to be masculine and a "man." Perhaps there's more than meets the eye... or ear in this case, but join me as we uncover the underlying emotions and meanings behind some popular kpop songs. The main takeaway of today: lyrics can come off as seductive, sultry, and sexy from a surface level, but intense physical attraction does not always equal strong, healthy relationships and rather, is often used as a facade to hide the vulnerability we actually experience within.
