<p><strong>Email Security </strong></p> <p>With almost everyone working from home and with an abundance of phishing emails being sent, home-schooling and other distractions, it is important to bear in mind some best practices.</p> <p>Simple top tips</p> <ul> <li>Avoid clicking links or opening unexpected attachments sent in email</li> <li>Use two-tier authentication and strengthen your passwords regularly with a mixture of special characters, numbers and upper/lower case characters</li> <li>It can be tempting but avoid free public WiFi</li> <li>Make sure you use a legitimate up to date antivirus</li> <li>Take car of your well-being. Don’t be an email drunky – manage email response expectations. In this episode Cheila and Clinton discuss the logistics, benefits, disadvantages and security risks the remote working brings. Whilst it’s great to be away from others and not having the constant interruptions while in the office, long term, this type of working could affect the personal wellbeing. However, it depends on the culture of the person and the mindset of the person in question. For some people, remote working is their life and it is perfect for them, for others, it’s not. Some people needs to be in the office and away from home to feed focus and few like they are working and keeping focus.
